Five drive modes stabilise the open DB12 Volante. Supported by electronic stability control, it grips the asphalt with greater confidence and places control firmly in your hands. The electronic rear limited slip differential distributes power intelligently for improved handling at any speed. A non isolated steering column delivers a direct and authentic connection to the road.

RACE CAR BRAKING PERFORMANCE

Control is at your feet. For the first time, carbon ceramic brakes are available on a series production Aston Martin GT. Measuring 400 mm at the front and 360 mm at the rear, they deliver consistent braking performance at any speed and remain cool even at maximum velocity. At the same time, unsprung mass has been reduced by 27 kilograms, allowing the car to respond even more rapidly to every driver input.

A MUSCULAR PRESENCE THAT DOMINATES THE ROAD

The DB12 Volante is stabilised by an increased track width of 6 millimetres at the front and 22 millimetres at the rear, which is reflected in the overall body width. The added width gives it a commanding road presence and enhances its sense of authority.

The DB12 Volante confidently showcases its newly designed and refined, yet heritage inspired styling across the front bumper, wings and grille. Characteristic of the DB lineage is the cleanly profiled grille. With an open area increased by 56 percent, this elegant focal point delivers even greater cooling performance.

Roof

PERFECTLY FOLDED

The DB12 Volante is crowned by a K Fold roof design. In just 14 seconds you are beneath open skies, a class leading benchmark. The roof can even be closed at speeds of up to 56 km h. The purity of the profile remains uncompromised. When folded, the roof measures only 260 millimetres in height, delivering a seamless rear profile and maximum luggage capacity. With eight insulation layers integrated into the design, the roof is acoustically optimised for superior cabin comfort.
