Aston Martin Valhalla at Schloss Hernstein

July 2026

A day in the Triestingtal valley: the Aston Martin Valhalla at Schloss Hernstein

Aston Martin Vienna invited selected clients to an exclusive driving experience with the Aston Martin Valhalla. The setting was Schloss Hernstein in Lower Austria's Triestingtal valley, a castle whose origins date back to the 12th century.

Driving it, not just looking at it

The focus was not on presentation but on the driving experience itself. Invited guests had the opportunity to drive the Valhalla on the roads around the castle, accompanied by a pro driver from the Aston Martin works team. The winding routes of the Triestingtal valley provided the right environment to experience the powertrain, chassis and aerodynamics under real conditions.

The Valhalla: Aston Martin's first mid-engined hybrid

The Valhalla is the brand's first mid-engined plug-in hybrid, developed with insights drawn from Formula 1. It is powered by a 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 producing 828 hp, supported by three electric motors contributing a combined 251 hp. The result is a system output of 1,079 hp and 1,100 Nm of system torque. Top speed is 350 km/h, and the Valhalla reaches 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds.

Its Formula 1 derived aerodynamics generate around 600 kg of downforce at 240 km/h. Two of the three electric motors drive the front axle, one drives the rear.

A format for special clients

Events like this are an integral part of how we understand client care. They give selected clients the opportunity not only to see cars of this calibre, but to experience them personally in a fitting setting, accompanied by specialists who know the vehicle in detail.
